I did some more live streaming on YouTube and made a time lapse video. I will be doing live streams on weekends or evenings because I am working during the week on a big story based Illustration project.
There are some new videos showing my experience working in Affinity Photo. I was pleased to discover that it is really nice to do digital painting in since the new update. I like the brush system and it is faster than it was before.
I still use several programs on and off when I’m doing digital painting, including Krita; Photoshop; Clip Studio Paint and Affinity Photo. I recently tried one called PD Howler 2020 which is very promising, but I need a faster computer processor than my current one to use it’s more advanced features without a lag in larger files. This is probably something I will be doing next year so I can do more 3D sculpting as well. Until then I will be sticking to digital painting and 2D Illustration.
I also wrote another article on my Art Squirrel blog: 6 of my Favorite Digital Painting Brush Sets
I’ve been getting nostalgic about my watercolour pencils recently so I may do some traditional art studies as well.
Thank you for reading this and please keep an eye out for my live streams.
